Journal 10

Now that I've finished my travelogue, all I can say that I should have added to my list is experience. My travelogue is a list of ten songs that take me back to a different time or place when I hear them. However, I feel like I haven't been to enough places or experienced enough in life that I could write about many interesting things; that, or my experiences were so personal that I did not want to put them into words. (I still did this at times, so maybe that's where the real "traveling" or "crossing borders" came into play.) So, if I ever write about how songs take me to a different place when I hear them, I hope I'll have done more to capture the attention of my audience. All my experiences are pretty authentic, but I'd rather they be a little more edgy, as well.

For the sake of the length of this journal, I guess I'll go on. I realized that I did not, in fact, need headphones to do this travelogue. In fact, I barely listened to the music as I wrote. This was due to the fact that I had to completely reset my iPhone to factory settings. All I could do was go off my own memory, and maybe look up the lyrics or YouTube video as needed.

And yes, it's been a difficult time losing all my music and apps, as I'm sure you can understand, but I'm getting through it with the help of my friends and family.
